I know this isn't majickal or anything... but everytime i see the Echo pedegree ad I start crying... I know its not very manly but this ad touches something in me maybe unresolved childhood issues or something but my heart breaks everytime I see it. I have heard all the dogs used in the ads were in fact shelter dogs, and have all been adopted into loving homes.
We intend to get another dog to be a companion for our dog Tessa (an almost shelter dog) and our Cat (who was the last of an abandon litter) We will rescue another fur kid from the shelter when we do.
It's not unmany to be human and to be compassionate my brother. I'd be more worried about a man who NEVER cried. I too am deeply moved when I see that ad, because I know that so many dogs and cats face an uncertain future in kennels and pounds. I kept telling myself that, if my husband and I could afford a home with a yard, I'd adopt a dog like Echo. So don't be afraid of showing your emotions. I'm right there with ya.
